Taiton is here!

I can't believe it's been 2 weeks! It seems like Taiton has been with us forever, he fits right into our family.
His first Sunday to church.

Our happy little family.

Taiton Morgan was born Tuesday, December 8th at 5:07 am. It was a quick labor and delivery (less than 5 hours). He was 11 lbs 9 oz and 23 1/2 inches long.

Thanksgiving weekend

Talmage fell into the pond even before we got to the zoo. I had to strip him down and buy a really long shirt at the zoo store, then he stayed wrapped in a blanket seated in the stroller the whole visit. It made my time at the zoo very easy.

The Sacramento zoo had a free day on Friday so he headed over first thing in the morning. We got their early to feed the ducks. The kids were really excited and energetic.

Tommy likes to play football.

Thanksgiving lunch was a small affair this year. We went to watch Trent play football in the morning then ate our Thanksgiving meal. Teagan loved her "chicken drumbstick" Talmage wouldn't eat anything and Tommy slept through the whole meal. We had a lot of left overs.

Talmage's birthday and Halloween

Me at 35 weeks. I chopped my hair later that day so I wanted a picture of what it looked like that long.

Tom was a fireman. I made this costume because he has been wearing a fireman hat nonstop, he would not wear it with his costume, figures.

Teagan was Thumbalina, Talmage was a ninja.

We celebrated Talmage's birthday before we left for LA. Happy 4th Birthday!

Birthday treats for his preschool.

Disneyland!

Teagan had the last week in October off from school, so we were planning on going to Idaho to visit family. Unfortunately his mom called 2 days before we were planning to leave informing us that she was sick. Due to the illness we decided to postpone our trip for another time, so we headed to Los Angeles for the week. Tuesday was Talmage's birthday so we celebrated by going to Disneyland. I was really hesitant to go with my kiddos, but it turned out to be so fun!

Tommy enjoying Toontown.
By 4:00 Talmage was wiped out. He missed the parade and our tour of toon town but woke up for a few last rides.

Teagan had a personal tour of Mickey and Minnie's house, no one else was there visiting.

And I didn't loose a single child! Just in case I made these stickers: IF FOUND CALL: and then My cell number and trent's cell number. So many people laughed and commented on them. They didn't realize how neccessary these stickers were for me.

The park was decorated in Halloween stuff, it was pretty cool.

Yosemite!

We took a family vacation to Yosemite this weekend. Uncle B came up from LA to join us. It was fun to have him with us, though I think sometimes a little overwhelming for him with the kids climbing all over him. He's a good sport.

Teagan and Talmage loved climbing on all the boulders.

family photo I was intent on takeing with Half Dome in the back ground, but no one looked and half dome was too bright. (figures)

Yosemite falls. We stayed in a tent cabin for two nights. On Friday we biked all around the valley and took the easy hikes to see a lake and water falls, then drove up to glacier point for a view of the valley below, then star gazing that night. Saturday we went to Hetch Hetchy and had a picnic. Then came home.

Tom and Talmage getting ready for bed!

I still remember when 30 was old

I painted and redecorated Teagan's room. She choose the colors. When I was done she was like, "this is so ugly mom. " (Thanks Teagan. I love you too. ) Now she likes it though.

Teagan learned to ride her bike without training wheels. The only time she fell was when she was done and was trying to get off her bike, and her foot caught on the seat. She fell over and scraped her knee. Now all she wants to do is ride her bike.

Happy 30th birthday in September. Trent put together a party and we had cake and ice cream. It was fun.

fun things

We had our ward campout in August. It was really fun to camp with a lot of other families and so easy because all the meals were provided.
Trent made Teagan a cool new do.

Talmage started Preschool! Twice a week with just me and Tommy = the easy life.

I'm getting ready to chop my hair so decided to document the length.

Monterey

We took our family trip to Monterey, Ca this weekend. It was so much fun! We went to the aquarium, a drive along the coast on Highway 1, a mission, the beach, through Carmel, the Dennis the Menace park and more aquarium. It is so cool to see the excitement that the kids have about seeing all the different exhibits at the aquarium. Member night was on Thursday, so we almost had the aquarium to ourselves. It was so cool.

Tom is walking around quite well now.

Teagan and Dad at a Catholic mission.

Talmage's usual way of transporting himself.

school starts and other happenings

It's been a busy few weeks.

Talmage is still in potty training mode. He was totally dry for a week straight, but as soon as the prizes ran out he got much less dependable. It is very frustrating for me due to his age (he'll be 4 the end of October) and he has to be in underwear for preschool next month (which I am determined to send him)
Teagan lost another tooth this evening! I was brushing her teeth when her gums started bleeding, I was like, "Teagan! you need to do a better job brushing your teeth!" She looks in the mirror and yells, My tooth is gone!" After a frantic search we found her little tooth. She is very excited for the tooth fairy to visit tonight.

Tommy has started walking around! He is 17 months and just starting to do it by himself. We are so proud that he won't be crawling when he enters nursery next month.

We all got sick last week. Fever, cough, headache, throw up, the works. I'm glad it's over. I thought I was going to die.

Teagan started kindergarten! I went to Walmart and bought some shorts and shirts for her. When I showed them to her she said, "Mom! I still like dresses!" So I took her to the fabric store and let her pick out 5 different fabrics for some new dresses. She knows what she wants that's for sure. I am happy to say I like the dresses better than the shirts I picked out, but I was sewing like a mad woman for a week straight.

Summer is flying by!

We did a last minute camping trip with some friends for the 4th of July Weekend. They had a group campsite with an extra space so they called us Thursday to see if we wanted to come. You bet we did!

Talmage and Teagan decorating the 5 annual 4th of July cake.

Talmage with his swimming certificate. He didn't pass. He was more interested in playing with the water toys and swimming away from his teacher than learning how to swim. Maybe next year.

Teagan passed her swimming class with flying colors. She was the only one who wanted to go off the high dive when they were learning to jump off the regular diving board. The teacher let her do it a couple of times and she keeps asking when she can do it again.

Talmage in the pool swimming away from his teacher.

July has been so fun and busy! I'm getting tired of the 100 degree weather, but know that I have at least one more month to go. Yikes. We've gone to the pool almost everyday, which helps.
